Dress Standards

New Students have 2 weeks to get their uniform together.

General grooming: All students must come to class neatly groomed. Ballet, Jazz and Tap students hair must be in a bun. No shirts to be worn under or over leotard in class. Matching cross-overs may be worn when cold. Watches/necklaces/bracelets/rings are not to be worn in any dance class. Small ear studs are acceptable.
CHEWING GUM IS NOT ALLOWED IN ANY CLASSES.

Jazz
- Jazz shoes with elastic sides (no laces)
- Tan - 5 to 9 yrs old
- Black  - 10 yrs and over
- Pink Ballet shoes - 3 to 4 yrs

Ballet
- Pink split sole leather ballet shoes (All ballet students 3 yrs and over)

Tap
- Tan Bloch tap shoes with fitted taps (5 - 11yrs)
- Balck Bloch tap shoes, called Show Tapper (12yrs and over)

TIGHTS
- pale pink feather soft (class tights)
-“FIESTA” skin tone gloss (performance only tights)

Boys
(Jazz, Tap & Ballet)
- White Bonds muscle shirt/tight fitting shirt or bonds sleeveless top
- Black jazz pants or black jazz/bike shorts
- Black jazz shoes with elastic sides (no laces)
- Black Bloch lace up tap shoes with Bloch techno taps
- Black leather ballet shoes with short white socks

Street Funk
- active wear, must be appropriate and the dancer must be able to move freely, eg. “Oz” merchandise, jazz pants/shorts and singlet.
JEANS ARE NOT ALLOWED!!!
- White-soled sneakers (no shoe is allowed to mark the floors), or
- Bloch Dance Sneakers (available from above suppliers)
